Job Description:

Representing an off-shore Mobile Value Added Services company, the candidate will be based in Toronto Canada and will be responsible for the technical support activities of the company’s products installed at the customer’s premises.
Our customers are Mobile Operators and VAS providers in the North American region.

The candidate will perform the following tasks:
• Daily monitoring of the mobile platform performance
• First-Tier technical support, answering client calls, responding to trouble tickets, and ticket follow-up on our helpdesk system
• Coordinating with the NOC team in HQ to promptly resolve problems
• Contacting 3rd party suppliers when need to resolve problems

• Writing and sending incident reports to customers and HQ for resolved issues
• Writing and sending Weekly/Monthly performance reports to customers and HQ
• Performing daily maintenance tasks on the platform

Skills and Background:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Communications
• 1-2 years of experience in telecommunications
• Solid Java experience
• Experience in Linux operating systems
• Solid understanding of networking essentials
• Microsoft SQL / mySQL RDBMS administration experience
• Good communication skills
• Self motivated and able to work in a team
• Canadian Citizen or permanent resident
