- Hamilton Eid Dinner. The Eid ul Fitr dinner will be on Sunday, September 27th at the Hamilton Convention Centre at 6:30pm. Adult tickets are $25 and children tickets are $25. If you need a ticket, please contact Shakil Hassan at shassanstc@yahoo.ca.
- Muslim Canadian Conference on November 14th at the Hamilton Convention Centre. This conference is jointly hosted by NASR, SISO, MAH, MAC, HCCI, and HCCA. This conference will spotlight the contributions of Muslims to Canadian society.

- Join Hamilton Dowtown Mosque’s traditional Eid Gift Drive for Children on Eid Day at Noon. (Only who registered their names will be presented with gift)
- The participants of the LINC for Youth Video Project at Mohawk College are proud to invite you to the screening of their documentary project: “Under the Hijab.” The documentary is about discrimination against young Muslim women who wear the hijab. It explores perceptions of the hijab by Muslims and non-Muslims and the experiences of young women who wear it in Canada. The screening takes place on Thursday, September 24th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room C121 at the Fennell Campus of Mohawk College.

I really want to encourage all Hamilton Muslims to register for the Canadian Muslim conference in November. I really believe that this conference will be an important event for our community. The conference will be the first step in an ongoing attempt to get the community more active in the wider community and therefore exert more influence on public policy.
